Common Duiker are aprly named. They are fairly common but the only way they survive the onslaught of predators is by being very shy. Duikers in general are not so easy to get good pictures of as they tend to take off whenever you spot them on safari. However, this female was thirsty enough to come right up to a waterhole in mid-day. She lived near a tourist lodge so maybe she was more safe than usual.
